Working out of a small shop in the
quiet farm country of Central Pennsylvania since 1977, Elton Hannaman has
created colonial signs with carved eagles, ducks and pineapples, as well as hand
painted wildlife scenes. Each piece is unique; each is a work of art.
Hand tools are primarily what he uses
to carve with, and for the gold leafing he also uses time-honored methods for
beauty and durability. Mr. Hannaman takes his time with each sign to make sure
it is done just right before it leaves the shop.
Mr.
Hannaman has gained National recognition through
articles he has written about his craft, and from awards he has won in the
National trade journal, Signs of the Times.
You may want to stop by the shop for a visit and see some signs first hand
before you place your order. Feel free to phone for an appointment and
directions to our place.
